Terms of Service

You must be at least 16 years old. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. One account per person — no bots, no impersonation.

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that happens under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, change your password immediately and let us know.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or our Community Guidelines. We will try to warn you first, unless the violation is serious.

You own the content you post. By posting it on ConBuddy, you give us a non-exclusive license to store, display, and distribute it to other users of the service — which is what it means for a social app to work. We do not claim any other rights to your content.

You are responsible for what you post. Do not post content you don’t have the right to share. If someone reports your content for copyright infringement, we will follow standard take-down procedures.

The short list of hard limits:

• Harass, threaten, or impersonate other users.
• Post illegal content of any kind.
• Scrape, crawl, or automate access to the service without permission.
• Attempt to compromise the security of the platform or other accounts.
• Use ConBuddy to send unsolicited bulk messages (spam).
• Create accounts for others without their knowledge.

ConBuddy is provided as-is. We aim for high availability but make no guarantees. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will give reasonable notice for significant changes where possible.

To the extent permitted by law, ConBuddy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim (which, for a free service, is zero).

We are not responsible for content posted by other users. If you encounter content that violates our guidelines, please use the report feature.

We may update these terms. If the changes are material, we will notify you via in-app notification before they take effect. Continued use of ConBuddy after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ConBuddy operates. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
